Adrianne Huxtable earned her B.Sc. (Hons) in Human Physiology from the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, B.C., Canada) and her Ph.D. in Physiology from the University of Alberta (Edmonton, A.B. Canada). She then continued to pursue research as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Wisconsin – Madison (Madison, W.I., USA) before joining the Department of Human Physiology in 2015 and was tenured in 2020 at the University of Oregon (Eugene, O.R., USA).

Undergraduate Students
Madison Kerkmann is an undergraduate student at the University of Oregon, currently earning a B.S. in Neuroscience with a minor in Fine Arts. Madison is interested in exploring the complex intersection between the arts and sciences. Madison joined the Huxtable Laboratory in Fall 2023. She aims to further understand the intricacies of nervous system development through hands on experience in the Huxtable lab.
Zach Marshall is an undergraduate majoring in Biochemistry at the University of Oregon. He is deeply interested in developmental biology and has spent his time at the University researching how disruptions in that development can have significant impacts on human health. He is planning on pursuing a career in Pediatrics after graduation. Zach joined the Huxtable Laboratory in Spring 2024.
